Mines lands 12 on
Academic All-RMAC teams
GOLDEN, Colo. (Dec. 12, 2007) - The Colorado School of Mines
men's and women's cross country team had 12 individuals named to the 2007
Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Cross Country All-Academic Teams, as
announced today by the conference office. The men had eight earn honors

CSM men finish seventh at NCAA Division II Nationals
JOPLIN, Mo. (Nov. 17, 2007) - The Colorado School of Mines
men's cross country team finished seventh at the NCAA Division II National
Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning in Joplin, Mo. The Orediggers
were led by Ben Zywicki, who finished the 10k course in 39th place (187
runners) with a time of 31:39.8. Zywicki was followed by Michael Rooney,
who posted a 45th-place showing (31:48.2). Zywicki and Rooney both earned
All-American honors (the top 30 American finishers earn All-American status).
Rounding out the CSM men were Aaron Swift (50th, 31:57.0), John Tallerday
(52nd, 31:58.3), Daniel Liechty (85th, 32:38.9), Clifton Oertli (141st,
33:59.6) and Sean Cusick (149th, 34:15.9). MORE
