CSM Women's Soccer Falls 3-1 to CSU-Pueblo in RMAC Semifinals
DENVER, Colo. (Nov. 2, 2007) - The third-seeded Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team fell to the second-seeded CSU-Pueblo Thunderwolves this afternoon in the RMAC Tournament semifinals by a score 3-1 at Metro State's Auraria Field. The Orediggers found themselves trailing 2-0 going into halftime, as the Thunderwolves scored in both the 27th and 42nd minutes. Alyson Burchardt kept the Orediggers' hopes alive as she closed the gap to 2-1 after her unassisted goal with 14 minutes remaining in the game. MORE

Kayla Mitchell First Team All-RMAC

FOUR EARN RMAC HONORS FOR WOMEN'S SOCCER
GOLDEN, Colo. (Oct. 31, 2007) - Four individuals on the CSM women's soccer team have earned All-RMAC honors for the 2007 season, as announced by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore forward Kayla Mitchell earned First Team All-RMAC honors. Also earning recognition were freshman forward Elizabeth Oba, junior midfielder Diane Wetzel and junior midfielder / defender Corinne Johnson. Oba was named Second Team All-RMAC while Wetzel and Johnson were Honorable Mention All-RMAC picks. MORE
