FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CSM men & women place 26
on GOLDEN, Colo. - A grand total of 26 student-athletes from the Colorado School of Mines outdoor track & field teams have been recognized on the 2008 All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams, as announced today by the RMAC. Student-athletes who finished first, second or third in their respective events at the 2008 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 4th - 6th in Gunnison, Colo.) were named First Team All-RMAC, while those finishing in fourth, fifth or sixth place garnered Second Team All-RMAC recognition. Members of relay teams that finished first were named First Team All-RMAC and member of second-place relay teams garnered Second Team All-RMAC honors. The CSM outdoor track & field teams will have the opportunity to send selected student-athletes to Western State College's Last Chance Meet on Sunday, May 11th, in Gunnison, Colo. The NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships will be held on Thursday - Saturday, May 22nd - 24th, at Mt. SAC in Walnut, Calif. (hosted by Cal Poly Pomona).
