FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer
and Football to play at home
GOLDEN, Colo. - The Oredigger women's soccer, men's soccer and football teams will all host home contests this weekend as Colorado School of Mines inducts the 2007 class into its Athletics Hall of Fame. The 12th annual CSM Athletics Hall of Fame banquet will take place on Friday, September 21st, in the Ben Parker Student Center on the CSM campus at 7:00 p.m. 2007 inductees include Bruce Allison, Floyd Carr, John Coats, Bill Yopp, Steve & Gayle Mooney and the 2002 CSM men's soccer team. The Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team (6-3-0 overall), which is undefeated in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play (4-0-0) and sits alone atop the league standings, will play at home on Friday evening, hosting Metro State at 5:00 p.m. at Brooks Field. The CSM men's soccer squad (6-1-0 overall, 4-1-0 RMAC) will also host the Roadrunners on Friday night. The CSM men, who currently reside in second place in the RMAC standings, are scheduled to begin Friday's match with Metro State at 7:30 p.m. The CSM football team (1-2 overall, 1-0 RMAC) will host Chadron State College on Saturday, September 22nd, at 12:00 p.m. at Brooks Field. The 2007 CSM Athletics Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized at halftime of the Orediggers' game against the Eagles. The Colorado School of Mines soccer teams will play again on Sunday, September 23rd, with both clubs squaring off against Regis University.
