Pape selected to 2007-08 Pre-Season All-RMAC East Division Team;
CSM picked to finish fifth in East Division

GOLDEN, Colo. (Sept. 27, 2007) - Colorado School of Mines' men's basketball player Kyle Pape has been named to the 2007-08 Pre-Season All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference East Division Team, as announced today by the RMAC.

Pape, a 6'0", 190-lb. junior guard from Honolulu, Hawaii (Iolani High School), was named Second Team All-RMAC East Division last winter after averaging 13.7 points per game and 3.0 assists per game. The only Oredigger to start all 27 games in 2006-07, Pape led CSM in field goals made (125), free throw % (.776; 59-of-76), assists (82) and steals (26) while averaging a team-most 34.3 minutes played per game.

Colorado School of Mines is picked to finish fifth in the East Division in the 2007-08 RMAC Men's Basketball Pre-Season Poll. The Orediggers finished with a 14-13 overall record (8-11 RMAC) in 2006-07.

CSM will begin its 2007-08 season by hosting the Colorado School of Mines Classic on Friday and Saturday, November 16th and 17th, at Lockridge Arena.
