CSM WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM LANDS FIVE ON RMAC ALL-ACADEMIC
TEAM; FOUR ON HONOR ROLL GOLDEN, Colo. - The Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team had five athletes earn RMAC All-Academic honors, as announced by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference late this morning. Four others were named to the RMAC honor roll. To be considered for this award the athlete must hold a GPA of 3.20 or better, be a starter or key reserve, and completed two consecutive semesters at their current institution. Kayla Mitchell, Diane Wetzel and Adrea Johnson all earned first team All-Academic honors, while Corinne Johnson and Alyson Burchardt were named to second team. Mitchell earns these honors after leading Mines this season with 10 goals and holds a GPA of 3.63. Both Wetzel and A. Johnson are starters for Mines and have a GPA of 4.00. Johnson was named to second team with her 4.00 along with teammate Burchardt. The four individuals named to the RMAC honor roll were Marissa Burson, Stefanie Frelinger, Erin Neil and Erin Doherty.
