CSM WOMEN'S SOCCER TEAM RANKED NINTH IN THE REGION

GOLDEN, Colo. -The Colorado School of Mines women's soccer team is ranked ninth in the Midwest Region according to the most recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America/ADIDAS poll.

For the Orediggers, who are 4-3 overall (2-0 in the RMAC), this marks the first time in program history that they have been regionally ranked.

The ranking comes after Mines went 3-0 this past week with wins against Colorado Christian University, New Mexico Highlands University and Dana College.

The top 10 in the NSCAA poll are: Central Oklahoma, Metro State College, St. Cloud State University, West Texas A&M, Fort Lewis College, Midwestern State University, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Colorado State University-Pueblo, CSM and Incarnate Word.

The Orediggers will return to action this weekend with two games on the road. They will face Mesa State on Friday and Fort Lewis on Sunday.
