CSM WOMEN'S SOCCER MOVES UP IN REGIONAL RANKINGS

GOLDEN, Colo. - The Colorado School Mines women's soccer team moved up from ninth to sixth in the Midwest Regional rankings, as announced Tuesday by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/ADIDAS.

The Orediggers moved up three spots from last week's poll after beating both Mesa State and Fort Lewis this past weekend. They beat Mesa State 3-1 on Friday night and Fort Lewis 2-0 on Sunday. Mines now leads the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with a 4-0 record (6-3 overall).

The Orediggers are ranked sixth in the region behind Metro State, St. Edward's, Central Oklahoma, West Texas A&M University and Midwestern State University. The women will be put to the test this weekend when they face Metro State on Friday night.
